Moon Festival Celebration - Sep 15, 2012

This year's moon festival was held on Saturday 09/15/2012 at Moondance Amphitheater in the Beaumont Centre Circle, Lexington with 4 hours non-stop show (30 performances), two awards ceremonies for moon cake making and children Essay and Art Work Competition. The festival has attracted throngs of local residents, more than 1500 people attended. We were happy to see many old faces and meet many new friends and new members.

KYCAA Chinese School Grand Opening - Aug 11, 2012

The Grand Opening ceremony for the KYCAA Chinese School was held at Beaumont Middle School in the afternoon of August 11th, 2012. About 200 people including students, parents, teachers, and school officials attended the ceremony

KYCAA and UK-CSSA jointly held a seminar on job search strategies at the UK William T. Young Library Auditorium, March 28, 2012, Wednesday 7:00 - 9:00 pm. It is a good opportunity for undergraduates, graduates and visiting scholars who are interested in seeking a job to get useful information.

KYCAA Award Banquet - Mar 24, 2012

The Kentucky Chinese American Association (KYCAA) held its first award banquet at the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort located at 1800 Newtown Pike, Lexington, KY 40511, at 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 24, 2012. About 80 members and guests attended the banquet and enjoyed the cocktail social, dinner, the award presentations, and dance social.

Lexington Community Celebrates the Year of Dragon - Jan 21, 2012

On January 21, 2012, KYCAA brought the community together to celebrate the Chinese New Year at the Singletary Center for the Arts located on the campus of University of Kentucky. This annual festival has been the largest Chinese cultural event in Kentucky.
