Dear Friends:
 
Ms Guoping Wang, wife of Kehai Li (a Ph.D. student in the Mechanical Engineering Department of UK), is suffering from a rare disease called aplastic anemia. Because her bone marrow can not produce enough red and white blood cells, she is extremely vulnerable to infections and can no longer maintain her normal physical functions. Ms Wang is currently undergoing intensive hospital and clinic treatments. Her parents are already in Lexington to help take care of her two-year old son.
 
KYACAP is urging all members to offer support by making donations to the family. We have established Guoping Wang Fund to help deal with the mounting medical expenses.  If you are willing to help, please make the check payable to “KYACAP/Guoping Wang Fund” and send it to: KYACAP, P.O.
